lol he’s so stupid. This reminds me how one of my guy friends got sooooo pressed when we were watching the Oscars the year Hacksaw Ridge was nominated because when he made a comment about being glad to see Mel Gibson back, I said “I’m not. He’s a racist, a misogynist, and an anti-semitic Nazi-lover,” and then reminded everyone of how he abused his wife (gf?) and said he hoped she got “raped by a pack of [ethnic slurs]” and that he never denounced his father for having a massive collection of Nazi memorabilia (obv because he likes that shit too). This guy got soooo defensive as if I was saying this about him and I just refused to back down and ~agree to disagree~, but he’s also the type to rave about Woody Allen movies, so. I usually silently roll my eyes at the women in our friend group behind his back, but sometimes I just can’t say nothing and then it gets very uncomfortable when no one else chimes in and I’m like “Oh am I the only one who actually cares about not giving racists, misogynists, and anti-semites a pass? Cute 🙃”
