They should be let out with time served. Their abuse was not considered at all when sentencing (or at least it def wasn't considered the way it would be now) and that should be rectified now.

Looking back it's pretty wild how the public and the media made fun of them when they spoke about it in great detail and how socially acceptable and almost "cool" it was to laugh at them and their pain. Very similar to Amber Heard when she spoke about her abuse. Gross.

If I'm remembering correctly, the prosecutor of the first trial said (cis) men couldn't be raped. Infuriating.

Which is strange to me because nothing in this case screams well planned and cold blooded.

Right?? She even had that bit where she said they could find no good character accounts of the father, and that he clearly was a horrible man, and yet couldn’t connect the final dots that horrible people often do horrible things to their kids.

I haven't watched the Netflix documentary, but I wouldn't doubt that it was her since she believes it's ridiculous for the sentencing to be reexamined.
