Magic Mike, but make it into a corny low-budget Christmas romcom.

To save her parents' small-town nightclub, a Broadway dancer named Ashley (Britt Robertson) stages an all-male, Christmas-themed revue - and meets a guy named Luke (Chad Michael Murray) with all the right moves.

The Merry Gentlemen hits Netflix on November 20th.

To save her parents' small-town nightclub

It’s always someone trying to save something in a small town, and it just so happens to always be around Christmas time.

Well yeah it has to be a small town. Everyone in New York is a well-off ad exec. At least that’s what Hollywood has taught me, so it must be right.

They’re the ones bringing the big business into the small town threatening the livelihood of the small town inhabitants

As someone who has worked in advertising for most of my adult life, it’s so funny. Most people in advertising make shit. The idea of a graphic designer who lives alone in NYC in a massive loft is hysterical. They literally make like $4 (no offense graphic designers, I’m sure some do great, and freelance work helps but is not a high paying corporate job). Or they have a junior account manager role, bitch, that’s like $40k a year max, you can’t afford to visit home on that wage.

It doesn't even make sense for their bill to be due by Christmas. That's not even a business day!

We had one. But eventually they tore it down and now it’s a John Deere dealership.

The small town next to the town where I lived had a nightclub, but it was at a massive casino resort for tourists and wasn't popular so they turned it into a poker room LOL.
