It was one guy with a loud speaker, they let him stay during the entire thing, Jimmy made a single comment that he was used to getting yelled at. I don't think what you're saying is accurate, unless you're referring to something else

he called the protester a "heckler." it's my opinion that making fun of and diminishing someone speaking out against a genocide as a mere heckler is not a good look

I don't think he said the guy was a heckler, the only direct quote he said was he was used to being yelled at, Deadline put heckler around quotes and other articles seem to be referencing that getting it mixed up with what he said. I get the comparison to heckling is not a good comment to make, but I think the comment was blown out of proportion.
