They sound lower/regular middle class. Like they were comfortable and were able to save for her to go to these music camps but not doing crazy my super sweet 16 type parties or vacationing in europe for 3 weeks.

Veterinarians who own, run and manage an independently owned practice's are not assumed to be 'rich'.

they are saints on earth for helping our pet and sadly went to school to be veterinarians, not business owners. If her husband is an office manager and not also a veterinarian, we can't assume she lied about her upbringing

I think OP is talking out of their ass or they fucked up and added an extra zero. In a five minute zillow search, there aren't any homes in her hometown priced at that amount--the ones even remotely in that range are on large multi-acre lots.
