I'm not an expert so someone can pls correct me, but i know it can make you really dizzy, confused, send you unconscious, or screw with your heart. it depends on the mix and the individual body, but combining the two can definitely be very unpredictable and dangerous

It can make your heart stop suddenly. That’s why doctors are very stern on staying away from alcohol when you take a benzo

I will say too people mix them because you get drunk way faster (and you can easily black out). I’m ngl I’ve mixed it before (Ive only done it a couple of times a looong time ago but it’s very dangerous and I can’t believe I was doing it smh) and after 2 shots and like a 5 mg of an anti anxiety pill and I was already visibly intoxicated (stumbling etc) and can’t remember a thing about those nights. Crazy to think people mix even more drugs in with all of that. Our bodies can handle a lot

A book I just read very casually described the character taking her anti anxiety meds and chugging half a bottle of wine. I don't think characters need to make sound decisions 100% of the time but something in the way it was written made me think the author didn't think twice about it either.

It will make you pretty out of it in my experience of accidentally combining adderall and benzodiazepines which I was prescribed and told was safe 🥴

I used to take Adderall and benzos with no ill effects, it just cut the edge off the Adderall. I was prescribed both.
