like I wanted to see them SO BAD but the nearest show to me was Miami and UGH at going to a festival. I am feeble!

if it were Portishead I would have suffered through anything and been devastated right now, thank god lol

lol well I am disabled but the intention was to be funny. seriously tho a festival in Florida??? Miami of all places, where the traffic makes me want to die and the weather is a solid five degrees hotter than the rest of Florida for some reason??? In reality I would have to just skip every other part of the festival to survive it. Which I would have tried to do for Portishead, lol Massive Attack is just one tick below Portishead for me tho so I was borderline

Omg Portishead!!! I haven’t listened to them in a minute. Changing that.

lol ok I don’t feel bad laughing then. I just never see people using the word “feeble” but it’s such a good word.

I’ve never been to Miami! (Almost did a “girls’ trip” forever ago but one friend backed out because of potential storms so we all cancelled and of course I learned from ONTD that early rain is normal and the rest of the day is usually beautiful and looking at the weather, that’s literally what happened. Anyway!)

Only been to Florida once - for a work conference in Ft Lauderdale, and I honestly enjoyed it! I see people dunk on the city all the time but as a tourist I thought it was nice.

I lived in Miami for three years when I was in grad school, and I can assume it's a fine enough city for tourists, but living there is just mad stressful. Worst traffic EVER.

Portishead recently did a remaster and rerelease of their Live in Roseland concert on vinyl and it is IMMACULATE
