Luca Guadagnino to Direct New ‘American Psycho’ Film
Luca Guadagnino is in final negotiations for a new interpretation of the book “American Psycho” by Bret Easton Ellis for Lionsgate.
The film, which features a script by Scott Z. Burns, will not be a remake of the 2000 film, but a new adaptation of Ellis’s novel.

The original film adaptation starring Christian Bale was adapted by director Mary Harron from a screenplay by Harron & Guinevere Turner.
