man, this one really got me. probably the most parasocial emotion i have is how impressed i am by what a class act louis has been since the dust settled on the end of the band, especially in the face of so much loss - his mother, his sister, and now this. their friendship was such a spark of delight at a dark time in my life.

Louis has experienced a lot of loss early in life. I don’t know how he manages.

yeah, so many people thought he would struggle the most but he's been through SO much and managed to carve a path he's content with and keep his head together.
i also think it's interesting louis and zayn mention that liam was always the sensible one. a lot of the time the sensible ones end up being the most self destructive bc they feel they have to hide their issues and overdo it in secret. liam really spiraled the last few weeks, it clearly came to a massive head and ended so quickly :(

i think that’s really true about sensible ones (and, honestly, think there’s probably some connection between how comfortable louis was acting like the messy young person he was & the level headed adult he is now), and i also think “sensible because they’re grounded” and “sensible because they’re incredibly anxious and tense” can look similar in a lot of ways.

I mean when you're a teenager and people around the world keep calling you the "responsible one" it has to weigh on you at some point.
