this is so true. As shitty as Liam became I really do feel for someone who was first in the X Factor meatgrinder at the age of 14--you barely have a chance. At least if I really hate my life I can just up and change it without millions of people watching and judging and seeking me--and chances are I will hate my life in a relatable way and find other people who can struggle along with me.

Liam had a very isolating and weird life and had to deal with that from childhood. Yeah, he was a piece of shit. Yeah, he wasn't smart. But I really don't wish his life on anyone. Makes me think of this song from Crazy Ex GF:
