October 14, 2024 Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée Maya Henry has began legal proceedings against the singer. The model and influencer, 23, claims that Liam has repeatedly messaged her and her friends, as well as her mother, Azteca Henry.
In a statement to The Sun, a spokesperson said: “Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information. She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter.”
Previously speaking about it
on TikTok, Maya alleges: “Ever since we broke up he will blow up my phone. It’s always from different phone numbers too so I never know where it is going to come from.”
“He will create new icloud accounts to iMessage me. It’s always a damn new iCloud account. Each time I see a new one pop up on my phone I’m like ‘oh here we go again.' He will also email me,” she continued.
“There is no right and wrong time to speak out on these topics. It’s disturbing that this man is still doing these things to me. I am disgusted by this diabolical behaviour. This is beyond disgusting and flabbergasting to say the least,” she added.
She also accused Liam's fans of being blinded by their loyalty to him and their love for One Direction. “When you constantly enable someone they're never gonna realise what they've done is bad, or they do realize and they know they can get away with it, which is what has happened with him for so many years.”
She added: “Everything gets swept under the rug, everything gets hidden for him. I don't know who the hell's behind all of this but nothing ever comes out about him. It's hard when you have these people jumping down your throat for speaking the truth on things that have happened, and quite frankly disgusting things that have happened and disgusting things that he's done.”
Last week, The Sun
broke the news that Liam had parted ways with his management team and his label postponed/shelved a second solo studio album. A documentary about his rise to fame was also shelved.
