The women of Emilia Pérez (and director Jacques Audiard) continue to attend festivals and do press for their film. Earlier this week, they were in the Bay Area for the Mill Valley Film Festival, were in NYC, and now they're in London for the BFI London Film Festival.

The film opened in France back in August. Limited release in US & CA on Nov 1. Premieres on Netflix Nov 13.

Summary: Emilia Pérez tells the story of high-powered lawyer Rita (Zoe Saldaña) who takes on an unexpected assignment: helping a Mexican cartel leader (Gascón) fake their death and undergo sex-reassignment operations. It's also a musical.
