lol Lebron is kind of a baby sometimes but I’ve actually been wondering when people were gonna turn on the pro sports leagues for private jet use. NBA alone that’s 30 teams that all play around 40 away games a season. The same people that are always on the celebs like Taylor Swifts and Kim Kardashians ass about private jets were celebrating that the WNBA got to have charter flights this season. Sports gets away with a lot lol

They’re transporting a lot of people usually late at night. It’s probably logistics as much as comfort.

I think a shittier issue for sports travel is the Big 10 now being spread coast to coast and making the athletes do all that travel. It’s not fair to the athletes and it’s absurdly wasteful.

Yeah, it's not just the players, its the coaches, trainers, gear guys, etc. which i think would add up to a full plane anyway

The superconferences are so fucked up. It was bad enough when east coast teams joined the Big 10, but now it stretches across the entire country. And Maryland still isn’t a football school, Underarmour fuckhead.

I still have no idea why that conference is spread so wide now. I went to a BIG 10 school and it was just the midwest then

I went to one too and still remember when it expanded to Penn State and Rutgers and people thought that was weird. What it is now is just insane. But, ya know, $$$$$$$$$$$$.

A lot of sports teams actually charter planes from major airlines most of the time. So they’re using a commercial plane which I think is better than a PJ. If the ~Star~ is on a private jet that’s a personal choice.

Yes NBA teams always charter commercial planes because private jets aren't large enough to handle all the players, coaches, support staff and equipment.

Recently the NBA purchased 13 Airbus A321neo jets (commercial aircraft) and will have Comlux customize the interior. While the NBA will own the planes, they will be managed by Delta. Only 2 teams own their own charter jets, Dallas Mavericks and I can't remember the 2nd one.

I think because there's always a home team and not every team plays every day there's no need for 30 jets for 30 teams.
