tbh, not a lot of sympathy for her. The way she acted with Joshua reminded me of this lady on Judge Judy who was very smug about "I'm pregnant with this guy's baby & taunting his ex he's gaslighting me about. I considering myself an upgrade."

No there was no over lap. Both of their respective relationships were over.

is any of this based on anything she's said or done or is that assumption based on, idk, vibes?

Not OP but for me it's a vibe that sort of woman puts out that's very offputting if you've seen or experienced it. Not sure how to explain it, but it's very High School "Boom! I fucked your man while you were with him and now I have him, aren't I a catch" if that makes sense.

so nothing factual then lol I mean, I understand the concept of ~vibes so by all means think she’s a pick me or whatever, but the implication that it’s based on any sort of truth (“the way she acted with Joshua”) when it’s clearly just a projection made over relationships none of us know anything about is just weird as fuck to me.

Yes, it's very much a vibe thing. Doesn't necessarily mean that Lupita did anything wrong, or that there's overlap so I see your point. On the other hand, that sort of vibe is veryspecific in a "I've seen this movie and know how it ends" type of way. I get the feeling that she probably thought since they were good friends it would work but he seems to be stuck on fuckboy so it's good she's free.
