The style he is going for artistically and musically this era is too late and dated. Probably would have worked like 3 years ago.

I feel kind of bad for him though. He went through some mental struggles for a few years and was finally ready to get back into music only for it to flop

Girl, we can debate talent, privilege and so many others things but there’s no denying Taylor puts on a big show. Female performers always have to delivery so much more, meanwhile the Imagine dragons dude performed in Brazil wearing just shorts and people went wild bc he’s ~so real. Regardless of how you feel about La diabla, there’s just no way she would’ve gotten to where she is with just the white girl with a guitar act.

Exactly. Before social media, these type of artists would just disappear back into the woodwork. He’s not exactly superstar material.
He’s had some respectable successes and can probably coast on those in addition to having an online presence.
