I’m getting tissue removed from my breast soon so they can do a more extensive biopsy. I’m so nervous and also sad I’m gonna have a scar on my boob now but better than the alternative.

I feel like I’m hearing more and more about so many women getting breast cancer and much younger. It’s so scary! They seriously need to lower the mammogram age or just not have any age limit at all. Let women decide! They found mine from a skin cancer check! (Get your freckles checked yearly people! I would’ve swore mine was nothing!!)

I’m glad she is doing well!!

I hope your testing goes well. Most skin cancers are easily treatable.

I do think insurance will cover earlier mammograms if you have a lump. Your doctor has to order it the right way. I have an inch lump in my left titty and my mammogram was only $6. It is a cluster of many benign cysts. I hope yours is also benign.

I have had 2 biopsies on the same boob this year. One is like a lil hole in my boob, and I was kind of like "wtf I have a hole now" but after 2 months I'm ok with it. But yeah at first it was def rather weird!! The other one just looks like a red dot. So it might depend on the placement and aftercare, I dunno.
Just treat yourself afterwards!!

I also have had 5 skin cancers. I have so many hats now lol.

Thanks bb! This is going to be a tissue excision with further biopsy so I’m looking at like a 2-4 inch scar but I’m dealing!

Ok I just saw your icon and I love it xD

I have a huge scar in the middle of my chest from skin cancer. I know it's like different when it's on a boob, that's like a sensitive area! But we are scar sisters ok!!

I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

And also vitamin e oil after it heals really helps in moisturizing scars and let's them like merge in your skin better imo. Like the puffiness of a scar goes down with it imo.

I am a breast cancer survivor, and biopsy scars are actually super small! hardly noticeable. Make sure you have someone drive you back! and take the day off. lots of ice, too. I think it hurt more from the inside than the actual superficial stitch since breast biopsies use this hole-punch kinda method to extract cells, and the "punch" part sucks, like someone literally punched me on the chest. hard to explain. good luck!

Thank you! They already did the punch and found some bad cells so they’re doing an excision so I have to go to a surgeon and it’ll be like a 2-4 in scar. Then they’re going to test the rest of the cells as well. I’m def taking time off. ♥️

So happy you’re doing well!
