I try my best to live by these words. I believe in finding common ground, in good conversations (even hard ones) and in compromise. I tend to keep this page free from politics, but, as I go on the road to campaign, I want you to hear-directly from me-why I am voting for @kamalaharris for President.
I’ve known Kamala for almost 20 years; I trust her and I like her. I’ve watched-she is tough on abusers and bullies, and unafraid to stand up for what’s right-even when it’s unpopular, even when it’s really hard. I know Kamala cares about families, about women, about children.
I’ve spent the last 16 years meeting and learning from families in forgotten corners of our country. I know Kamala Harris will be President for every single one of them, charting a path for their education, jobs, health, and upward mobility.
Kamala Harris and @timwalz remind us that it’s ok to love our country, that we have more in common with our neighbors than not. I am grateful for the joy. There is a New Way Forward and, with my vote, I choose Kamala Harris for President.
