i saw this on saturday (along with the in person q&a with andrew! he was incredibly kind) and really truly loved it so much and their dynamic in it is so lived in and wonderful and can't wait to watch it 30 more times tbqh

it's definitely got a plot that you would think of as formulaic but the way the film is structured and their chemistry/insane amounts of talent really elevate it. it's also far funnier than you would assume from that preview too

he was really sweet and although i didn't intentionally try to go out the same door as him after the screening he was taking time with a lot of fans who were gathered outside too. florence also zoomed in from the east of eden set in new zealand and they were (as predicted) very charming with their banter and had a lot of great set anecdotes. i hope they make 20 more movies together tbh.
