I love sooooo much of his music (I’m basic and Lay Lady Lay is one of my faves) yet the first memory that came to mind when I saw this was when i was in high school and he had two sold out shows that I didn’t get tix to and the “stoners” were talking about how they were going and I jumped in (I know, rude, but whatever) and expressed my excitement to them but they dismissed me as if they were better than me?? I remember when you were considered a “nerd” Jerry!!! No amount of hair gel and jnco jeans will change that!

Yes, I need therapy.

Anyway, this looks meh but I love me some Scoot!

my husband and I are always delighted to see Scoot show up in things, mostly so we can say "SCOOT!"

😂 I can’t help but say his name twice. “Omg it’s Scoot Scoot!” Should I ever meet him he’ll immediately write me off because I’ll tell him that.

He really is so endearing on screen though.

His music and lyrics will never get old. I wonder if he's always been a big reader because if not I don't see how he could write so well.

Oooo, that’s a great thought. People’s genius always baffle me. Some are influenced and/well learned and others are naturally the influencers (and express themselves in different ways). I think he may be the latter but I could be wrong.

Holy shit I didn’t realize he had one! And lololololol of course he named it volume 1. But I can’t tell if he meant ironically or if he is pretentious enough to trust someone to write volume II after his death.

I’m a big Monkees fan so their association with him and Jimi Hendrix doesn’t help my love of them all.

Ok I just realized Dan Fogler is in this too! I will always love him for “Take Me Home Tonight.”
