I'm from Santa Rosa CA, which is where Schulz lived most of his life and the home of the Charles M Schulz Museum. I learned how to skate (badly!) at Snoopy's Home Ice which is next door. Worth a visit if you are a fan! There are also Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Woodstock statues all over town that are fun to find.

He and his wife did such great philanthropy, including making a huge donation to help build the HQ for Canine Companions for Independence in town, where my sister and I volunteered in the kennels when we had a breeder for them.

All this to say, mad props to you Sparky!

I live in LA but I've been dying to go there for years. Unfortunately money being what it is makes it hard. But I'm hoping to make the trip there eventually.

Every time I go to Santa Rosa it's to visit my dad's best friend and I've regrettably never gone to the Snoopy museum yet because it's always a one day event. But I will make time!
