The Sims 5 quietly cancelled
‘THE SIMS 5’ is not in the works.
• Main reason is EA not wanting players to have to restart a decade’s worth of gameplay after ‘THE SIMS 4’
• A multiplayer mode is in the works for ‘THE SIMS 4’

- The Sims 5 is NOT in the works at EA
- Main concern: Sims 4 stans having to start over after 118 (!) DLC releases
- Instead: more Sims 4 DLC coming and maybe a multiplayer version of the game
