DC hasnt had a hit sequel since the Nolan-verse came to an end.

BvS - flopped critically.
TSS - flopped at the box office
WW84 - flopped critically
Aquaman 2 - flopped critically/box office
Shazam 2 - flopped critically/box office

Not to mention that they havent had a hit DC film since The Batman in 2022 and before that Aquaman in 2018.

Gunn-verse has A LOT to achieve.
