For forty years, Rock Hudson left his mark on Hollywood as a leading man who tackled movies and television.
- He shot to stardom in 1954's 'Magnificent Obsession' and earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for 1956's 'Giant.' Hudson went on to star in Westerns and romantic comedies throughout the 1960s
- Hudson died as a result of AIDS-related complications on Oct. 2, 1985.
