Last week, 90210 actress Tori Spelling and con artist Anna Delvey/Sorokin were the first two celebrities eliminated from season 33 of Dancing with the Stars. After Anna's elimination was announced, DWTS host Julianne Hough asked Anna what she would be taking away from her experience on the show. Anna's full response: "Nothing." Over the weekend, she appeared on Tori's podcast and reiterated that her answer was the truth. She also told Good Morning America that her favorite part of the DWTS experience was being eliminated.

After Anna and her bedazzled ankle monitor were eliminated, Anna told NBC news: “I feel that the show so obviously used me to drive up the ratings, that they never had any plans to give me any chance to grow and only cared about exploiting me for attention. It was predatory of them to try [to] make me feel inadequate and stupid all while I did get progressively better yet they chose to disregard that.”
Over the weekend, she did an interview on Tori's podcast and claimed that the show eliminating her and Tori before Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts was an attempt to embarrass her and Tori. She described the judges' critiques as "worthless," saying: “I felt like, well, they were building me up. It’s like, oh, well, ‘Only if you smile more, only if you do like XYZ, it’s going to be so much better for you.’ And it felt like they put so much effort trying to get me on the show, like, make me feel comfortable just to… eliminate me this early.” She also said doing the show was "a waste of time."
She stated, "It felt like I was never really given a fair chance by the viewers or some of the judges given their nonsensical scoring. It’s supposed to be a dance competition and not a popularity contest.”
After seeing the harsh comments from viewers, she said, "I’m trying to start a new chapter moving past mistakes I made and regret when I was much younger. Not sure when people will finally afford me that second chance and stop persecuting me so I have the opportunity to move on with my life.”
To compete on the show, she had to get permission from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to travel to Los Angeles, which is outside her 75-mile house arrest radius in New York, which led to Whoopi Goldberg saying on The View that Anna was receiving special treatment from the government.
