Peaky Blinders Movie Starts Production

Netflix posted a first look of Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby with the Peaky Blinders movie starting production.

Creator Steven Knight also returns as the screenwriter of the film with Tom Harper directing.

Announced cast members so far are Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth.

I fell off at the beginning of season five. Was it worth finishing? idk how it went from must watch tv to horribly boring for me but it did.

I think the final season was pretty ok, but the ending kind blew. Cillian is great as always.

It was so-so. I did enjoy the series puncturing the bubble of Kennedy worship by portraying patriarch Joseph Kennedy as the fascist he actually was. Anya Taylor-Joy's American accent was hilariously terrible though.

I usually enjoy her, and I'm not all that particular about American accents, but her accent was fucking killing me!!

It was Margot Robbie-level bad, but I'll give her a pass because I think it was her first attempt at any American accent whatsoever. She's sounded fine in later roles like The Queen's Gambit and The Menu.

Honestly I thought it got pretty boring after Tommy got into politics, the last two seasons weren’t really the same, and then losing Aunt Polly as well 😔
