I don't understand. Where did the money go? Cuz we def didnt see it on screen and it's not just this show. That's so much money.

And it's not like they had to worldbuild from scratch. A lot of the set pieces already exist; you just need to get creative with it. Same goes for costuming and lore.

This is not refuting my conspiracy theory that some shows/movies were made to fail. Whether it's for money laundering or embezzlement is debateable.

Didn’t one of the other streamers have a show that cost an obscene amount of money and was a giant flop? I think it was with the Russos?

I’d believe it if it came out these big budget flops were some kind of tax or money laundering scheme.

You're thinking of Citadel, which is basically a Bucky/Natasha fanfiction with the names changed. I believe it got a season two, which is surprising, given that I'm the only person to have seen season one.

I think, if you really like that ship, you might maybe consider checking out the first episode to see if you get into it. It has all the tropes: amnesia, not remembering you were in love because of said amnesia, someone is a sleeper agent for the bad guys, spy secrets, who can you trust. I wouldn't call it good, but I watched every episode so it's not unwatchable, strictly speaking.

There are scenes where Richard Madden looks more like Sebastian Stan than he ever has before, to the point where I started to wonder if that's why he was cast. Priyanka's character is named Nadia (VERY different from Natasha). It really feels like someone wrote an MCU spec script, and the Russos said, "Good enough," and changed the names.

Welp! I guess I'm sold! Sometimes, you just just need some trash tv to melt that work stress off your brain. Thanks for the review/warning, lol. It's a shame they're such bland, reactive actors when they're both so good looking.
