I think he had bit of a reputation of being difficult on set; bringing his own entourage and trying to run things (changing scripts etc). I believe he had a bit of a chip on his shoulder because he never quite felt like an A-list star

I’m too lazy to google the specifics, but in the 80’s/90’s Bruce and Demi bought a town in Idaho(?) and thought they could make it “New Hollywood”. I believe they intended to make it a celeb hotspot and rejuvenate the local economy. That clearly never happened.

Ohhh! I vaguely remember that now! I feel like a lot of celebs have bought land/houses in Idaho so I’m kinda surprised it didn’t happen but i assume said celebs bought places there for anonymity so makes sense it didn’t become a new mini Hollywood.

I think you're confusing them with Kim Basinger. She bought a town in late 80s/ealry 90s with plans to build a movie studio and start a film festival there but ofc it bankrupted her.
