i'm really tempted to start watching this show. do the seasons past the first season stay the same level of quality in your opinions?

The first season is really good. The second season not so good.

The first season was great.
I got a few episodes into the 2nd season and I thought it was so bad that I dropped the series at the time. The acting was good. I thought decisions with the stories were not I want to get back to it though.

The second season isn’t as good as the first because you don’t have the same level of surprise at everything that is happening. It’s like the second season of every show - the audience has in its mind how things should go for each character, and if you read through the old S2 posts, you’ll find they get very pissy when their vision doesn’t happen.

In short S2 is not perfect, but it’s still entertaining and nowhere near as bad as whingers here would have you believe. The show is definitely worth watching.

the first season is good, the second season the teen storyline is still good and the adult one is awful in a riverdale-but-boring kind of way
