I feel if somebody's been misusing charity funds, they should be banned from running charities forever, not just for 5 years. It's not like running a charity is necessary to live.

I agree. Not being allowed to run one does also not exclude someone from still volunteering, campaigning or donating to another charity.

It's disgusting how many charities are manipulations of funds. Having worked at them it doesn't seem like the money goes anywhere but up

Once I learned how wealthy people and companies gain tax and financial benefits from running foundations / charities, I've been side-eyeing almost every rich person or big company starting one, tbh.
