That episode was heartbreaks after heartbreaks. I ACTUALLY CRIED. I never cry omg. Cerebrimbor broke my heart. His light speech ;__; Elrond and Durin, I'm not ok. That "Durin will come" in loop was devastating.
But the worst part is the orcs. It killed me to see them humanized and I will always love the wirters of this show to show that not all darkness is exempt of light. That "you said you loved us" in such a fragile tone. Kuddos to that actors and to all the actors of the orcs because it was a punch in the face to be reminded that everyone was suffering again and again in that war.
What an episode. And oddly enough, despite this episode not having a single human, what humanity
When Elrond arrived at Khazad-dûm and was waiting there for Durin, I was tearing up so bad and holding back a sob session. I love their friendship so much and hope that they have more scenes together in the future! 🥹
