I'm going to try to say this as nicely as possible.

[Spoiler (click to open)]Apparently they were at a house party and went out into their hosts garden. They started making out, things got heated, and Joshua plucked a cucumber out of the vegetable patch and got Diane off with it. Unfortunately they had an audience (a looky loo who stumbled on it by accident but watched the whole thing) and they were embarrassed. Mess, because how you gonna get your partner off in someone's else's yard with their vegetables?
