Two Would-be Scorsese Pictures Have Been Indefinitely Postponed
Martin Scorsese’s ‘JESUS’ movie and ‘FRANK SINATRA’ biopic have been indefinitely postponed.
There was plans to shoot both movies back-to-back this year but that will no longer happen.

Speaking of the other other Todd with unrealized projects...Joaquin deserves Joker 2 bombing as badly as it is. Poor Todd Haynes.

And Joker 2 is directed by Todd Philips LMAO.
Todd Field makes three movies, each one gets multiple nominations and wins tons of precursor awards, can't get financing except once every 16 years it seems.
I like how his unrealized projects has a section for movies he auditioned for as an actor and didn't book. Someone on Reddit - idk how legit this is, it's not on this list - said he was the second choice for Jason Dean in Heathers but lost to Christian Slater right at the end.
idk Todd Field and Quentin Tarantino should team up to turn this scene into an entire movie it would just be weird and probably get a Best Adapted Screenplay nom given their track records as writers.
Also to answer my own question re: Gilead, apparently they finished a draft of a script before the WGA strike started. No news in almost a year now.
