she has Olivia Rodrigo’s producer, she needs to also hire Olivia Rodrigo’s PR agent and then copy Olivia’s political strategy!

Olivia picked one issue to focus on-reproductive rights-and got a lot of hate and threats from right-wingers for it but nonetheless has been donating proceeds from each concert to charities that focus on reproductive rights. she does so much for this one issue she’s successfully avoided being grilled about other issues which i think is fine, she’s a pop star not a politician after all. i wasn’t sure if Olivia had endorsed Kamala but i googled it and she’s reposted stories of Kamala talking about reproductive rights a couple of times always staying laser focused on her one issue and her fans took that an endorsement.

I’m not sure why Chappell couldn’t do something similar but for trans rights and Palestine especially because she genuinely does more on these issues than most of her peers. as an aside i like her but i’ve always found her a little annoying (not because of politics) and i thought ONTD was putting her up on too high of a pedestal saying shit like people were mad at her for canceling her concert just because she’s a lesbian, and i needed people to be a little more normal about her but people once again swung too far in the opposite direction!!! reading this post gave me a headache lol.

Yeah she needs a PR agent cause it’s clear she can’t handle it. She’s gonna get burned out from replying to everything.

She’d be fine laser-focusing on the topics she cares about and leaving it there. If she does that she’ll be fine and less bothered.

Yeah her going to the VMAs over continuing her career completely contradicted whatever artist image she had her in mind. She's gonna learn that it better to say less sometimes lol.
