Eh, there’s context surrounding the above info.

Just one example. Anna and her millionaire bf break up, and she half heartedly offers to repay him the money he lent her to pay half the tuition for a makeup course, which was maybe a few thousand (less than 10k). He accepts and because she can’t give all the money immediately, gives her the opportunity to cut his hair in his corporate office for at least 8 months before she’s like, “this is ridiculous, I’m out.” I think it was like $40 a cut in NYC.

He had other instances of being a cheap AF MF during their relationship like going to expensive east coast beach towns and saying she could pay her way there by taking over the cleaning service for their rented house. Unsurprisingly, the owners of the home did not agree to this arrangement, hence the awkward haircutting situation amongst his friends.

Second example. She gets her BPD diagnosis following her week long stay in an inpatient psych hospital, but didn’t read said documentation until much later. (The in-house psychiatrist got some fundamental “Anna-specific” info wrong in his file too.) She explains that she had a different psych who refutes his diagnoses. It all happened at the end of the book so unfortunately there’s not a ton of follow up.

as a psychologist, she definitely definitely has BPD lol, very obvious from the book

I’m sure she will take that under advisement and not the guidance of her existing mental healthcare team that seems to refute said diagnoses.
