I just came from a 7 days 7 looks vid with Sabrina Carpenter and she paired a gorgeous vintage brown mini skirt with a black turtle and oh my god. It can be done. I was against the combo myself, now Im obsessed.

I think the lengths are all wrong. The crop top with the high-rise skirt makes her stomach look… off? Like, she looks toned as hell, but the almond-like cutout without a bellybutton reminds me of when clothes are just a smidge too tight and my pudge would pop out above my waistband. I’d either crop the top some more or drop the waist a bit (or both, she has the figure for it).

I like combining black and brown, though.

i dont think it has a 'cutout', it's bc she got them tig old bitties pulling the bottom up on the front, you can see that the back sits fairly flush with the skirt. Girl just doesn't know how to dress herself after all this time (but considering she's going for the instathot look bc it's what Travis likes I grant her some leeway, it's really not a style that suits her at all)
