Twitter could be soooo good if literally ANYONE but Elmo was running it. I'm still on it because I've had my account since September 2011 and it's genuinely the only way I can stay in contact with people I've known for yeeeears but man it's gotten so fucking bad. Half the time my timeline is either shit that's 20+ hours old from my followers and then the other is a mix of right wing lunatics who I want NOTHING to do with.

I couldn’t handle being on it anymore, even though it was how I stayed in touch with my friends. I left right before he started messing with the algorithm because the last thing I need is more right-wing propaganda in my life. I kept my account, though, just in case someone buys it off of that lunatic.

I still have my account but don’t go on it. It’s barely usable. Besides showing shitty ads all the time, it’s control crashing and I’m always seeing stuff I didn’t ask for.
