I saw something on TikTok about him including an incestuous scene in the show, which is actually fucking sick and depraved. From court documents, the brother that did the sexual abusing to the other apologized, and there was never a romantic capacity to that and there were never any rumors that alleged that either. Actually depraved by Murphy.

The imagery sure seems to imply that. The header image on Netflix (as of last week or so) showed them shirtless and semi-embracing and I was like "..........???"

Yeah like... I know there were heavy implications during the trial that one of the brothers (idk which one) was gay and they used that as a counter against the child abuse claims so like.......... all of that and research (lol if Murphy did any outside of Googling) that's what y'all came up with?

And even if they did, it’s pretty common to see siblings sexually abuse each other AFTER one (or both) of them has been abused by an adult.

When I worked in the “Family Crimes Division” of the PD, the detectives said this to me and it ended up being consistently true for the cases I saw.

I also saw too many children from my parents’ church end up there, and their creepy parents would beg me not to tell anyone at church (it would be illegal for me to do so….but so tempting bc their kids were touching other kids because the parents were pedos).

Hardest unit I’ve worked in. One guy chain smoked so hard that he hardly got any work done. This unit wore people down HARD.

Yeah. Honestly one of the saddest cases I dealt with was a kid who's abuser had him abuse his little sister. The day he told me about it was one of the few times I went home and cried after work.

And let's be real, it makes sense. When you sexualize a child that early, they will experiment with other kids. It's not right, but to exploit that to paint some sort of vindication story for the fucking rapist father.

yeah, they did. there is them talking about lyle abusing erik as young kids but whenever they talk about that it's always very clear he was just reenacting what his father was doing to him.

but then there's a scene where nathan lane is describing other possible theories (because his character doesn't believe any of it) and he says that maybe they killed their parents because their mom caught them being intimate with each other and then they lied about the abuse to cover up for their own incest - and they show them in the shower together as adults.

I actually just finished it. The shower scene isn't super explicit, like they're not kissing or having sex or anything, they're just naked together but it's implying the theory of a sexual relationship. To a point, I understand mentioning that it was a rumor people spread about the brothers because it was, but idk, Ryan Murphy was certainly treading a very thin line with what he showed.

and that happened when they were both literal children, like 3 and 6 or something. ryan sexualizing it is so heinous and trivializing to the abuse both of them went through.
