The new season premiers 26 December on Netflix.

I enjoyed the first but I really don’t think this needed a second season.

The back half of the first season was pretty lackluster. I'd much rather a second season of Squid Game: The Challenge, than this obvious money grab. I'd love to be wrong, but I'm too damn cynical.

It was open ended, which made it that much more unsatisfying.

seems more like the creators were always open to more then, than a cashgrab. it would be soulless to tack on a season to a completely finished show but I think the writers may have some vision left.
