Damn this guy. First he bonds the cast together to make sure they all get paid the same and now he doesn't abandon people who quit their jobs for him. This guy. Well done.

Yes, these are the only two stories I really know about him, but they are both really good.

There was another story of when he fist blew up after friends and did an interview in a hotel. He knew the interviewer was a woman and might not have felt comfortable meeting a guy in a hotel for an interview so he said actually had another woman in the room, who i believe was his agent at the time, to make sure she felt safe. I believe the reporter was the one that shared this anecdote.

I read nice stories like this about him and then I remember his misogynistic Paris Hilton dude bro rant and it makes me wonder if they’re the same guy.

It’s an old interview, so hopefully he’s changed his attitude. He went on a rant about what a wh*re/skank Paris Hilton is, referencing the South Park episode while doing it. He went all “if I had a daughter” (obviously before he had a daughter). It was just really misogynistic and crass. He came across as a dude bro to me and it wasn’t a good look at all.

"You've gotta see this. It's more about the culture and how our culture has allowed her to become a role model. I would be so aghast and horrified as a father if I had a daughter right now that this person is allowed to become a celebrity and a role model. She even has her own perfume" - we're back to real life now - "and I found myself clipping this article, this newspaper ad from the New York Times or something for Paris Hilton launching her new fragrance, and the slogan was something like 'Sultry. Sophisticated. Class.' I'm like: are you fucking kidding me? It should be called 'Spray-On Whore'."... )

Welp. That is so disappointing. Some men can understand the fear women have against men yet completely miss the mark regarding slut shaming. Ugh. I hope he has changed.

And this is all what a lot of people don't understand about leadership. It's not just about lording over people and bossing them around, it's taking responsibilities for their failures and going out of your way to bat for your team because it's your job to protect them and help them thrive.
