I could be wrong but I remember there being headlines right after Shannen died about how there were specific people she did not want attending her funeral. From what I read, Jennie and Shannen had made peace doing the con circuits and Shannen had said they were good. I think the banned thing people thought was about Alyssa Milano, as if she would have tried to go. There were probably a ton of people that Shannen knew would try to use her passing to get 5 mins of attention.

In January, Shannen talked about not wanting certain people to attend her funeral on her podcast. A lot of news outlets took the quote below and reported that Shannen had a list of people who were banned from her funeral. It may or may not be true but after she died, "sources" said that Jennie Garth and Alyssa Milano were not invited to Shannen's funeral.
"There's a lot of people that I think would show up that I don't want there. I don't want them there because their reasons for showing up aren't necessarily the best reasons. Like, they don't really like me and, you know, they have their reasons and good for them, but they don't actually really like me enough to show up to my funeral. [They'll show up] because it's the politically correct thing to do, and they don't want to look bad, so I kinda want to take the pressure off them and I want my funeral to be like a love fest. I don't want people to be crying or people to privately be like, 'Thank God that b**** is dead now.'"
