The fact that it’s Addison Rae aside, it’s kind of a nice contrast with the big names who act like being #2 or #3 is the worst thing in the world to see someone who’s just happy to be charting at all even if it’s at #86 lol.

I don't see where is celebrating but reminds me of guns n roses popping champagne bottles because they entered 199 of the billboard 200 cause they were expecting to be below that lol.

Lmao I misread the title, but I’ve seen other artists do it so what I said still applies… just not to her! Hahaha @ Guns & Roses but I would do the same. Gotta take the wins where you can.

I do feel like I’ve heard and seen this song around more than any of her previous songs, so she’s got something to celebrate anyway. And her music video went a bit viral on Film Twitter because it apparently has a lot of references to an older film so she’s been reaching new ears.

I have a friend on tumblr who was like everyone is seeing the Lana inspiration but it's also Faster, Pussycat Kill Kill!! and I went back and looked at the video and did notice the similar angles like down below!

But for the most part I think the Lana-like lyric and melody was smart cause it's already known style so it'll reach her fans and others. Or at least you'll get attention because most will immediately pick up the familiarity. Smart move.

Yeahhh what I got from the video and the song was this girl really loves Lana Del Rey! But that’s fine lol. Lana herself is chasing the critical acclaim now, so we could use some mindless fun Lana-esque bops from someone else.
