the way there was a collective "oh no! anyway..." about the second assassination attempt is KILLING me. like my local news channel had top to bottom coverage the first time around and this time they mentioned it once and then moved on to talk about street closures and a car accident😭😭

My local morning news made it their 3rd story, after a car accident and the great weather we’ve been having. But to be fair, the accident killed someone and our weather has been unusually amazing for this time of year.
I’m sure by the time the evening news rolls around, it will be a footnote story.
