Watching clips of old episodes of Dance Moms, it's so obvious how the abusive nature of Abby Miller would do a number on anybody. I saw some interview with Rosie O'Donnell and she talked about being intentionally mean to one of the kids because she couldn't fire her from the team because of the reality show, the girls were now in contracts with Lifetime. So because of that, she would say whatever she wanted to the mom/daughter since they couldn't leave. Truly psycho behavior. Understanding that makes the hair pulling incident make more sense because of the pressure cooker environment.
