Following Huw Edwards and Jermaine Jenas, another BBC presenter Jay Blades MBE is being investigated this year.

Jay is known for presenting your dad's favourite TV show, The Repair Shop, where they restore family heirlooms. It's been on TV for eight years. Average audience numbers are over 6 million.

Today it was revealed that Jay has been charged with "controlling or coercive behaviour" towards his wife, Lisa-Marie Zbozen.

The police said they launched an investigation after they were called to an address on 3rd May.

He appeared at a Magistrates Court this morning (minor crimes) and was bailed to appear at a Crown Court (serious crimes) on Friday 11th October.

Lisa announced they were divorcing back in May 2024. At the time, Jay also mentioned he was taking a break from social media as his uncle was murdered shortly before the divorce.
