A Jane’s Addiction tour date ended in calamity when Perry Ferrell physically laid into Dave Navarro and was restrained and removed by crew Friday 13th September.

Could this be the end for the on-again, off-again alternative rock vets? #janesaddiction #perryferrell #davenavarropic.twitter.com/xd1Bvpu39r

The last time I thought of Dave Navarro was when he and Carmen Electra were an item

People are taking it with a grain of salt because she's clearly on Perry's side and other stuff might have been brewing.

BUT, he defended Dave, who was the "victim" of the situation. She could have talked shit just to make her man look better. That's typically the case.

Yeah I was surprised at how neutral her account was.

"take a look at the video yourself"

Yeah I'm looking at the video and all I'm seeing is heavily inebriated Perry attacking Navarro unprovoked. Ladies, you've hated each other since the dawn of time, it's really time to hang it up.

not to blame the alcohol bc choices but it is wild to me that so many reckless, terrible actions seem to be triggered/enabled by alcohol yet people treat its consumption as something so mundane. meanwhile people demonize the shit out of weed and i’m here high as a kite with an itchy bug on my foot that I simply don’t have the will to shoo away bc it looks cute and comfy

Alcohol is still more likely to cause aggression than any other substance. I'm the resident prohibitionist around here, lol, but I hate alcohol and drinking culture so much.

the fact that the DARE program drilled it into our heads so hard that weed was a gateway drug really got people. never have a smoked a joint and decided to order an eight ball. many a time did i take a bunch of shots and decide to order an eight ball.

and good for your comfy bug.

It's the legality. Booze is legal, weed (in most instances) is not. People have tricked themselves into thinking booze is better because of that.

With weed people demonize the substance, with booze they blame the consumer. They say shit like "They can't hold their liquor" when somebody consumes so much that they black out. If somebody gets stoned it's "he's addicted to that damn mary-jah-wanna".
