BTS Jungkook posts in support of NewJeans, international HYBE fans spiral
In OP-did-not-see-this-coming news, BTS's youngest (and arguably most successful) member, Jungkook, posted to Instagram in support of NewJeans. He posted a picture to what OP assumes is his dog's Instagram account with five hearts in NewJeans' Powerpuff Girl colours and member order (blue for Minji, pink for Hanni, yellow for Danielle, green for Haerin, and purple for Hyein).
Previously, Hanni shared a post with the same colour order (plus a rabbit emoji for NewJeans' fans, called Tokkis/Bunnies, and a blue cap for MHJ, ADOR's former CEO):
Why is this significant? While there have been quite a few people coming out in support of NewJeans recently (including WJSN's Dawon, Kia Tigers baseball player Kim Do-young, and S.E.S's Bada), none have come from within HYBE.
(For those unaware of HYBE's history, BTS was the group that made HYBE possible and are basically the only reason Bang Si-Hyuk (former CEO of Big Hit Entertainment, co-founder and current chairperson of HYBE) has any relevance anywhere.)
Of course, fans are being totally normal in response to this update:
