It did have tons of potential, but it fell in to that trap of listening to the twitterverse/fandom and pandered and changed things for them and it become a convoluted shipping mess.

It's a shame too much of the cast drank Mar Mar's juice because I would like to know how batshit things were behind the scenes. It just seemed like they changed stuff up way too much, there was cattiness and favorites, etc etc. I need one of them to write a memoir.

Dude...I loved that so much (minus the accent). I had predicted the twist a year before it happened because Spencer had no bangs during the scene with Hanna in the premiere.

So much of PLL definitely fell apart because actors got busy. Like I still believe Melissa and Wren had more to do but TVD and OuaT got in the way respectively. Definitely all the shipping got in the way. The network also got in the way with Spencer being A for so little time (Troian mentioned that one time).

I still miss it though. I miss the cast BTS snapchats and then trashing the show during promotion, I miss Spencer and Hanna duo, I miss Mona being wild and actually the best Liar, and I miss livetweeting with the fans. But you're probably right that there are more things I don't miss.

Even when the show became a total mess, it was still a fun thing to look forward to every week.
