It reminded me of when I met a guy online during COVID and once things started easing up I made plans to visit him after 3 years of talking, and when he picks me up (not at the airport LOL - he met me at my hotel, after we had dinner the first night at my hotel and he drove there) he instantly lights up in the car and chain smokes the entire time we're driving to the museum we decided to visit. And he doesn't roll the window down.
And then he ghosted me. Until my birthday this year, over 1.5 years later, to tell me happy birthday, but then ghosted me again after I said thanks.
