'Good Omens': Production Paused On Amazon Drama From Neil Gaiman https://t.co/Fbq4fpXpNj
- Deadline (@DEADLINE) September 9, 2024
Previously, Disney announced that it was pausing its adaptation of Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book" for multiple reasons, including, but not necessarily limited to, the accusations of sexual assault made by five women against Gaiman this summer (ONTD posts one, two, and three for context; ONTD post about Disney's decision here).

Now, less than a week after Disney announced its decision, Amazon has opted to pause production of "Good Omens". Gaiman (co-author of the original book alongside Terry Pratchett) is executive producer, writer, and showrunner of "Good Omens" and heavily involved in the production.

As for Gaiman's other adaptations, Dead Boy Detectives (for which Gaiman served as executive producer) was cancelled on August 30 ( ONTD post here). Still in production (at time of posting) are Sandman and Anansi Boys.
