Jaime Bennington, the son of former Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington, has criticized the band’s decision to bring in Emily Armstrong as their new vocalist.

Setting aside their choice of singer for a moment. I know plenty of bands stay together after losing their lead singer, Chester himself filled in on Stone Temple Pilots for a time... but this specific instance still bothers me so much. I think they should have renamed the band.

Honestly him filling in for stp pissed me the fuck off, Scott was so hurt and Chester claimed to be such a huge fan

I don’t mind that they kept the name, Mike started the band and Chester isn’t here anymore (unlike with stp) but replacing him with a Scientologist who supported a serial rapist and doesn’t believe in psychiatry is a kick in the face to their legacy
